This Privacy Policy explains how BOSCONA collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit boscona.com, buy from us or contact us. We handle personal information in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulations.

What we collect

Contact and delivery details: your name, delivery and billing address, mobile number and email address.
Order details: what you buy, return or cancel, the amounts paid, and any personalisation you provide, such as names, text or images.
Payment details: your payment method and confirmation that payment was made. Card details are entered directly with our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Account details, if you create an account: your login details, saved addresses and preferences.
Messages: what you tell us by email, WhatsApp or other support channels.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you use the store. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Your name, delivery address, mobile number and email address are required to process and deliver an order. Everything else is optional or collected automatically as you use the store.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders. This covers payments, confirmations, shipping updates, returns, refunds and warranty help.
To support you. We use your information to answer your questions and resolve problems.
To keep the store secure. We use it to prevent fraud and misuse.
To meet legal obligations. This includes keeping transaction records and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
To improve the store. We use it to understand how the store is used, so we can make it work better for you.
For marketing, only with your consent. We send marketing emails or messages, or show you personalised ads, only if you have agreed to this. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by contacting us. Order and service messages are not marketing and will still be sent.

Who we share it with

We share only what each party needs for its role:

Fulfilment partners. These are the partner workshops, brands and warehouses that make, pack and ship your items. They receive your name, delivery address, mobile number, email address, the items you ordered and any personalisation details. They use this information only to fulfil your order and handle any return.
Delivery companies receive your name, address, mobile number and parcel details so that they can deliver your order and contact you about it.
Payment providers receive the payment details you enter at checkout. These include the providers of the payment methods shown at checkout and, if you choose one, a buy-now-pay-later provider, which may carry out its own checks under its own terms.
Shopify and other service providers that run the store for us, for example hosting, email, customer support tools and analytics. They act under contract and on our instructions.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

Processing outside Saudi Arabia

Some of our fulfilment partners, delivery companies and service providers, including Shopify, are located outside Saudi Arabia. Your information may therefore be transferred to, and processed in, other countries. We do this only so that we can fulfil your order or provide the service, and only with the safeguards required by Saudi data protection rules.

Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information to provide and improve its services. Shopify may also use information about your interactions with our store, together with other merchants and Shopify, to provide certain enhanced features. Cookies

We use cookies to keep the store working, for example to keep your bag and your language. We also use them to understand how the store is used, and, with your consent where required, for marketing. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the store works.

How long we keep it

Order records: for as long as needed to complete the order, handle returns and warranty, and meet legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them.
Account information: until you close your account. You can ask us to close it at any time.
Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe.

How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Payments are processed by our payment providers over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to:

know how your information is used;
access your information and receive a copy of it;
ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
ask us to delete information we no longer need;
withdraw your consent, for example to marketing, at any time;
complain to us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Children

The store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, where the law requires, let you know.
